Job Description

Our client, a major telecommunication company in Nigeria, is seeking a Head of Partnerships and Marketing to lead the development and execution of strategic partnerships and marketing initiatives for the Experience Centre. This role is for you if you have worked on projects relating to tech incubation or tech pop-up centers. This role is critical to driving engagement, onboarding businesses for our programs, accelerators, and incubators, and fostering international partnerships that help push the Centre’s goals forward. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Technology and Innovation, Head of Programmes, and other key team members to ensure the Centre’s offerings reach the right audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of the Centre’s partnership and marketing strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including businesses, technology firms, and innovation hubs, both locally and internationally.
• Develop strategies to onboard partners for the Centre’s accelerators, incubators, and other programmes.
• Collaborate with the Head of Programmes to ensure partnerships align with the needs of the Centre’s offerings.
• Design and implement marketing campaigns that raise awareness and promote the Centre’s services and innovations.
• Create and manage strategic alliances that support businesses in filling technology and innovation gaps.
• Ensure that all partnerships and marketing activities align with the Centre’s mission and objectives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in international partnerships within the tech ecosystem.
  • Proven experience developing and managing partnerships within technology or innovation sectors.
  • Strong background in both B2B and B2C marketing strategies.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure alignment of partnerships and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Development, Communications, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Professional: Certifications in Digital Marketing, Partnership Management, or Marketing Strategy are highly desirable.
  • Proven success in managing partnerships within the tech ecosystem, both locally and internationally, is essential.
